NATURAL SELECTION REVIEWS
I must admit, the violin is rather refreshing. It seems as though too many bands simply rely on “core” instruments (guitar, bass, drums) and not enough on other instruments, but 1090 Club is an exception and they do a rather good job of incorporating the violin and piano into their songs.....I would recommend giving Natural Selection a listen for yourself.
-Driven Far Off Mar 2009
The best way to describe 1090 Club is intense. Their piano and guitar driven songs were complimented by violin and a good mix of vocals
-MinesBlob Feb 2009
..a quality set of songs that should help to bring greater awareness to the quartet as well as help to elevate their standing in indie-rock circles. And I hope both of those things happen, because this is group that certainly deserves it.
-Striker Bill Mar 2009
Male and female vocals interact to create bittersweet harmonies with undeniably powerful hooks. The band's melodies tend to sneak up and grab you when you are least expecting them.
-Snob's Music Mar 2009
Montana should be proud.
-Opinion Hated
The band has emerged as true artists in the zero-boundary sense: cinematic storytellers whose latest album comes together in an essential whole.
-Kata Rokkar Mar 2009
"10 out of 10"
- Neufutur Magazine Feb 2009
"Highly recommended"
- Local Vertical Feb 2009
"...great tracks that I will listen to over and over again"
- Pastepunk Feb 2009
1090 Club is striving for something much nobler with their music, and that would be to create art" - Sun on the Sand Dec 2008
"interesting pop-rock that doesn’t quite sound like anything else you’ve heard"
